Gloria A. (Lachapelle) Migliori

87, of Cranston, died Saturday, January 30, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Julius C. Migliori, MD, and mother of Richard J. Migliori, MD, Michael E. Migliori, MD, Jill Marie Migliori, Stephen J. Migliori, MD, Mark R. Migliori, MD, and Donald A. Migliori. She is survived by daughters-in-law Joan, Marianne, Sidney, Sara and Joanne; fifteen grandchildren Kristen, Lauren, Jonathan, Alison, Michelle, Andrew, Alyssa, Nicholas, Sarah, Anna, Donald, Gloria, Mackenzie, Natalie and Marcella; and one great-grandchild, Elizabeth. Gloria was born in Smithfield, the daughter of the late Wilfrid and Alice (Michaud) Lachapelle. She is also survived by her brother Cleo Lachapelle and his wife Ann and was sister to the late Raymond Lachapelle, Lorraine Medeiros and Jacqueline Berard, and she is further survived by her brother-in-law Joseph L. Migliori, MD, and sister-in-law Anna Ferri. She was a life-long parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Gloria graduated from West Warwick High School and Johnson & Wales University. She was the business manager for the Department of Anesthesia at St. Joseph's Health Services and St. Joseph Hospital School of Anesthesiology in North Providence. Above all, Gloria cherished her role as Memere to her grandchildren and great grandchild, as well as mom to her six loving children and her nieces and nephews and Mrs. Mig to her children's friends. In honor of their dedication to family and education, a clinical examination room at the new Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University is dedicated in the name of Julius and Gloria Migliori. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St. Cranston, followed by interment at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
