Grigoriy S Ter-Martirosov

Grigoriy S. Ter-Martirosov, known to his family and friends as Greg, was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, cherished brother and a loyal friend, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 67. He was born on January 9, 1956, in Baku, Azerbaijan, to Sergei and Irina. Greg graduated from Azerbaijan State University with a Master’s degree in electrical engineering before moving to the United States with his family on January 28, 1992. After re-training in Computer System Management at the New England Institute of Technology, he started working at Pfizer as a Desktop Support technician. He worked there for 17 years, advancing to Training Center IT support, then Executive IT support, and finally, IT support for Mergers and Acquisitions including site-wide software upgrades and migrations.

Greg was a man of great integrity, with an infectious sense of humor, and a heart of gold. He was a selfless person who always put his family first. He had an incredible bond with his loved ones, and was always there for them, whenever they needed him.

Greg had many talents. His customers and family said he had the ‘magic touch’ because he could fix and set up almost anything. Nothing made him happier than teaching his kids about maintaining and fixing their home and cars. Greg also enjoyed reading Consumer Reports and researching various topics from the latest technology, to the best cars on the market. He loved vacationing in Florida with his family.

Greg was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer more than six years ago, but he never let his illness define him. He showed incredible grace, courage, and determination throughout his battle, and his love for his family never wavered. He was always there for them, even when it was difficult, and took great effort to maintain a normal lifestyle for his family throughout his illness. His unwavering loyalty to his family and close friends will always be remembered.

Greg was a true legend in the eyes of those who knew him. His passing has left a void in the lives of all who loved him. His wife, children, granddaughters, siblings, nieces and nephews, and friends will miss him dearly. His wife, Tatyana, called him ‘my rock’, his daughter, Aleona, lovingly described him as her moon and stars, and his son, Dmitriy, will always remember him as his hero.

As his family grieves, they take solace in the knowledge that Greg's legacy lives on through them. They will always remember his kindness, his selflessness, and his love for them. His loved ones will miss him every day, but they know that his memory will be their guiding light, reminding them of the importance of family, loyalty, and love.

His visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5-7pm in the funeral home,  followed by words of remembrance at 7pm.
