Guido S. Aidjian

Guido S. Aidjian, 83, of Cranston passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Ernestine (Ursillo) Aidjian. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (McCoombs) Aidjian to whom he was married for over 50 years when she passed away in May of 2011.

Guido enjoyed working at Davol in both Providence and Cranston for over 38 years. Upon retiring he returned to his roots of house painting for another 15 years, and always reminisced on the personal relationships he formed along the way. Guido was happiest when he was helping others, especially his family and friends. There was never a home improvement project he did not want to be a part of, and he was always ready to offer his advice and expertise. He was a man who would light up the room with his laughter, and caring nature. His friendliness made many days brighter. Guido treasured time with his family, especially if it included warm weather and sweet treats. He was truly “One in a Million”.

Guido was the devoted father of Doreen Golde and her husband Alan, Janice Travis and her husband Michael, and Lisa Rouleau and her husband Kenneth. He was the cherished “Papa Guido” to Maria, Alan, Nathan, Jacob, and Jolie. He was also the loving great grandfather to Caden, Emilia, and Audrey. He was the brother of the late Frederick, Victoria, Josephine, and Anthony. He is also survived by siblings Barbara, and Donna.

His funeral will leave at 10:00 am on Friday February 16, 2024, from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Inurnment will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday from 4:00 -7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Hope Hospice Rhode Island.
