Guido B. Ruggieri

86, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston.  He was the beloved husband of Marilyn F. (Smith) Ruggieri.  They celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on August 25, 2016.  Born in Providence, Guido was a son of the late Bambino and Lucy (Ruggieri) Ruggieri.  Mr. Ruggieri was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.  He worked for his uncle’s carpet store, Ruggieri Brothers in Cranston, for 50 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Sharon Passano and her husband Michael of Warwick.  Guido was the brother of Anna Manni, Rita Palombo, Dolores O’Brien and the late Michael, Pasco, Peter, Rudy, Mary, Rose and Jennie.

His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church in Cranston at 9 a.m.  VISITING HOURS: Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.  Burial, with military honors, will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
