Guillermina “Mama Mina” (Perez) Natareno, 93 of Providence passed away peacefully on Friday April 25, 2025, with her family by her side. Born in Guatemala she was the daughter of the late Maria (Gimenes) and Ruben Perez. She was the beloved wife of the late Dario Natareno.
Affectionately known as “Mama Mina,” she was the rock of her family and a cherished figure in her community. Throughout her life, she lovingly cared for countless children. Her nurturing spirit and deep devotion were evident in the time, love, and compassion she gave to each child, many of whom grew to know her as a grandmother.
She is survived by her beloved sister Ethel Velasquez and her husband Hector; her children Ruben Natareno and his wife Marta, Cesar Natareno and his wife Orbelia, Jose Natareno and his wife Kathleen, and Olga Villeda wife of the late Augusto Villeda. She was the proud grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of twenty-two. She was the beloved mother of her eternal angel, her infant daughter Ana Maria Natareno.
Family and Friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday May 2, 2025, from 10:00 -12:00pm at the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Followed by a 12:00 pm Funeral Service. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.
Guillermina “Mama Mina” (Perez) Natareno, de 93 años, de Providence, falleció tranquilamente el viernes 25 de abril de 2025, rodeada de su familia. Nacida en Guatemala, hija de los difuntos Maria (Gimenes) y Ruben Perez, y esposa del difunto Dario Natareno.
Afectuosamente conocida como “Mama Mina,” fue el pilar de su familia y una figura querida en su comunidad. A lo largo de su vida, cuidó con amor a innumerables niños. Su espíritu de cuidado y profunda devoción se reflejaron en el tiempo, el amor y la compasión que brindó a cada niño, muchos de los cuales llegaron a conocerla como su abuela.
Le sobreviven su querida hermana Ethel Velasquez y su esposo Hector; sus hijos Ruben Natareno y su esposa Marta, Cesar Natareno y su esposa Orbelia, Jose Natareno y su esposa Kathleen, y Olga Villeda, esposa del difunto Augusto Villeda. Fue la orgullosa abuela de once nietos y bisabuela de veintidós bisnietos. También fue la devota madre de su ángel eterno, su hija bebé Ana Maria Natareno.
Familia y amigos están invitados a las horas de visita el viernes 2 de mayo de 2025, de 10:00 a 12:00 p.m. en la Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, seguida de un servicio funerario a las 12:00 p.m. El entierro será en el Cementerio de St. Ann.
