72, of East Providence, a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother passed away on Thursday, May 19 surrounded by her loving family.
Hanne was the daughter of Lucy and Bechara Azzi. She was predeceased by her siblings Mary, Josephine, and Joseph. She leaves behind three sisters; Zeda, Suad, and Saada.
She was born and raised in Lebanon. Hanne would later meet and marry her husband Hachem Hachem. Together, they moved to America and most recently were living in Riverside, Rhode Island. They were married 44 years and had four children together; George, John, Georgette, and Peter. Hanne was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a “Teta” to her 9 grandchildren; Charbel, Jasmine, Anthony, John Jr., Isabel, Mark, Christian, Jalyn, and Aiden.
Hanne was known for her boisterous personality and good sense of humor. She had a love for animals and taking long walks to enjoy nature. She was a devout Catholic and was dedicated to her faith. She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 am in St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday morning prior to the service 9-11 am in the Church.
