Harold L Grattage, Sr

80, a lifelong resident of Cranston, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Harold was the husband of the late Meredith (Gladding) Grattage. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Harry and Beulah (O'Brien) Grattage. Harold was employed at the RI School of Design as a Supervisor of Security for the past fifteen years and was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War.
He was the father of Deborah Gabriele of Cranston, Harold Grattage, Jr. of Scituate, Cindy DiMella of Franklin, MA, and the late Donna Lombardi; cherished grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of 3, brother of the late Harry Grattage, Jr.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Requiem Eucharist funeral service at 10:00 a.m. in St. David on-the Hill Episcopal Church, 200 Meshanticut Valley Parkway, Cranston. Burial will be private.
