HAZEL (MARABIAN) PORTUKALIAN
Hazel was a secretary for the State of RI Public Defender Office for 23 years before retiring. She was an active member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church; it's Ladies Auxiliary and was the church organist during WW-II. She enjoyed Armenian music and dancing.
Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Kenneth B. Portukalian and his wife Rosemarie of Cranston and the late Gregory S. Portukalian; loving grandmother of Robert, Joseph and Alessandra Portukalian; dear sister of Everett Marabian and his wife Rose of Warwick; and loving aunt of Everett Jr., Linda and Barbara Marabian.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in North Burial Ground Cemetery in Providence. VISITING HOURS WEDNESDAY 4-8 p.m.
