Helen M. (Zvonchek) DelPrete

92, of West Warwick, passed away on Sunday, September 04, 2016 at West Shore Health Center, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of Anthony V. DelPrete for 69 years. Born in Luzerne, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cyril and Agnes (Walko) Zvonchek. She was employed by North Safety Products in Cranston for many years before her retirement. Helen was also a member of AARP- West Warwick Chapter and spent many hours as a volunteer at the West Warwick Senior Center. Helen was a voracious reader and an avid bowler. She was witty and sharp. Her sweet demeanor and infectious laugh were trademarks of her personality.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her loving children, John V. DelPrete and his wife Joanne of North Providence, Nancy L. Pepler and her late husband Wayne of Portsmouth, NH, Barbara A. Franklin and her husband Lawrence of North Scituate, and William J. DelPrete and his wife Nancy of North Kingstown; eight cherished grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; dear sister of William Brisko of Casa Grande, AZ, the late Edward Zvonchek and step-daughter of the late Domenic Brisko.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME  & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston on Friday at 7:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel, 62 Pleasant St, West Warwick. Burial will take place in RI Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Exeter at 10:30 am. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday from 5 – 7 pm.
