Helen (Zira) Farone

of Cheryl Dr., Johnston, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Miriam Hospital in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Mario B. Farone.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Lizzie (Gemma) Zira.

She cherished spending time with her family and was an avid bingo player and sincerely enjoyed her circle of friends.

Helen was the devoted mother of Mario B. Farone, Jr. of Johnston and the late Joanne H. Farone, loving grandmother of Mario B. Farone, III and Paul Rotondi. She was the dear sister of the late Samuel Zira and Rose DiMarco.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday, January 10th at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1803 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
