Helen (Maggiacomo) Folcarelli

85, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, surrounded by her daughters. Helen was the wife of the late Louis T. Folcarelli. Born in Itri, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco Paulo and Maria Civita (Agresti) Maggiacomo.
Helen was a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans Giovanni Folcarelli Unit # 1 for many years. She was presently serving as the Unit's Chaplin.
Helen was State Chaplin of the DAVA State Department of RI. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Kelly-Gazzero Post 2812 and the Italo American Club of Rhode Island.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Linda and Donna Folcarelli, both of Johnston. She was the sister of Claudia Ruscito of Cranston, Settimo Maggiacomo of Formia, Italy, Ralph Maggiacomo of Cranston and the late Pasquale and Fausto Maggiacomo.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 931 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 12 noon. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are SATURDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
