Helen A. (Scopelliti) Ruggieri

83, of Hopkinton, passed away on Wednesday, June1, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of John Ruggieri, Sr. Born in Providence; she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Oskowski) Scopelliti.

Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, John Ruggieri, Jr of Hopkinton, Kimberly Ruggieri-Lima and her husband Joseph of Cumberland and Elena Aviles of CT. She was also the cherished grandmother of Juliana and Jenna ; and dear sister of Arthur Scopelliti , Jr. of Smithfield, Florence Moskwa of Smithfield , Vincent Scopelliti of Johnston, Rita Pignatelli of North Providence and Steven Scopelliti of Glocester.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4-8 pm.
