Helen A. (Lombardi) Russo

93, a lifelong resident of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Russo.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Adelina (Conca) Lombardi.

She was the founder of Russo’s Enterprise, Inc. and worked for over 50 years before retiring in 1992.

Helen was the loving mother of Joanne J. Russo of Cranston, John M. Russo and his wife Louise of Johnston, Anthony J. Russo and his late wife Margo of Sanford, FL; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; dear sister Julia Tronni of Cranston.  She was the sister of the late Dorothy Volpe and Antonetta Lombardi.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Monday 4 – 7 p.m.
