90, of Cranston, passed away on November 28, 2016 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Marion (Runyon) Burdick. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Claude and Nellie (Bixby) Burdick. Mr. Burdick was an HVAC service technician for Hytest Oil Company for 25 years until his retirement. Herbert was an avid salt water fisherman and loved spending summers on Hog Island. He was also a US Navy veteran serving during WWII.
Herbert is survived by his loving daughter, Barbara Strain and her husband Charles of Warwick. He was the cherished grandfather of Jennifer Ray and great-grandfather of Alexander and Emily Ray. He was the brother of the late Claude Burdick, Norman Burdick, Evelyn Delude and Eleanor Stevens.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Home Service on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will take place in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS: Thursday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
