84, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence, after a courageous four year battle with leukemia. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to John E. Campagnone. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria (Panaccione) Serrecchia. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children Patti Wise of Providence, and John E. Campagnone, Jr. of Cranston. Ida was the cherished nana of Alysha, Aindrea, Cristina and John, and great-grandmother of Anthony. She was the sister of Evelyn Maggiacomo of Scituate, and the late Angie Corsi, Anna Souza, Laura Poccia, and Anthony Serrecchia. Ida loved cooking for her family, and preparing her flower and herb gardens. Whomever she met, she always left a lasting impression. Her compassion and love for all will be greatly missed. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
