Ida (DeLauro) Saccoccio

85, of Johnston, passed away on Friday June 2, 2017 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Ferdinande Saccoccio. Born in Burrillville, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Zaira (Capillario) DeLauro. She was worked for the lunch program at Rhode Island College for many years until her retirement.

Ida is survived by her loving sons, Fred Saccoccio and his wife Nora and David Saccoccio and his wife Marianne both of Johnston. She was also the cherished grandmother Brianne Barnette and her husband Dan of North Providence, Kendall Saccoccio of Cranston, and Evan Saccoccio of Brookline , MA; great grandmother of Madelyn and Claire Barnette . She was also the dear sister of Adeline Morrone of Ohio and Vera DiDomenico and her husband Joseph of Cranston.

Her funeral home service will be held on Monday at 10 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by graveside services in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday Morning 9-10 am.
