89, of Cranston, R.I. passed away on April 12, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony A. DiBiasio, and is survived by her loving four children - Michael DiBiasio (Lynn), Maria DeLuca (Norman), Anthony J. DiBiasio (Donna) and David DiBiasio; her five grandchildren - Michael, Daniel, Haley, Margaret & Jessica; and her four great-grandchildren - Adelie, Zara, Fiona and Esme`; and her sister – Barbara Paolino. She joins her late siblings- Dora Ricci, Oresto Ricci, Edith Simone, Lena Greaves and Dino Ricci. She was the daughter of the late Domenico and Ines Ricci.
Ines was a devoted mother who took great pride in her family. The sixth of seven children, Ines valued and nurtured relationships and worked tirelessly to support the people around her. She took great joy in all things that mattered most – especially babysitting her grandchildren, celebrating important life milestones, and keeping family holiday traditions alive. Generations of extended family members still fondly remember the weekly Sunday pool parties Ines hosted for decades.
“Inie”, as her grandchildren called her, will be remembered as a “favorite aunt”, a loyal friend, and a great companion. Eager to spend time with loved ones, she loved traveling the world, Broadway musicals, and shopping – of all kinds.
She and Anthony recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. Their bond was strong, loving, and honest. Partners always, Ines worked closely with him to found the family business -Michael Distributing Company- and served as the company’s bookkeeper and office manager for over 50 years.
A long-time member of The Western Cranston Garden Club, Ines held many club positions over the years including President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. She delighted in the club’s content and mission and received several creative awards over the years. But mostly, she appreciated the many strong, lifelong friendships made there.
A communicant of St. Rocco’s church in Johnston, Ines’ faith was an important part of her being. She and Anthony attended weekly services and often enjoyed dinner with close friends and fellow parishioners after mass.
Ines was a strong spirit who fought with courage and determination through her recent health challenges. She was kind to, and appreciative of, the Cedar Crest Nursing staff who helped her maintain her dignity and pride -especially during her final days. Her family and circle of friends will miss her immensely. They are grateful to have had her with them so long and will carry her in their hearts forever.
Her funeral will be on Monday at10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI, at 11am. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston, RI. Visiting hours will be Monday morning from 8:30am to 10am.
