Iolanda E. (Parente) Mattiello
84, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Giuseppe D. Mattiello. Born in Caserta, Italy she was a daughter of the late Ferdinando and Antonia (Gravante) Parente.
Iolanda worked for Norton Safety Products for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her loving children, Nicola "Nick" Mattiello and his wife Lisa of Johnston, Giuseppe "Joe" Mattiello of Cranston, Rosemarie Portukalian and her husband Kenneth of Cranston; cherished grandchildren Robert, Joseph, Alessandra Portukalian, Nicole, Nicholas, Michael, Joseph, Gian, Benjamin Mattiello, and great granddaughter Giana Mattiello; dear siblings Rosalia Mattiello of Cranston, Giuseppina and Salvatore Parente of Italy. She was the sister of the late Angelo, Giuseppe, Marta, Francesco, Giovanna, Benigno Parente all of Italy.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston, RI 02921.
