Irene T. (Thomas) DiRaimo

87, of Old Baptist Rd., North Kingstown, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late John M. DiRaimo. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Mariano and Maria (Pacheco) Thomas. Irene was the devoted mother of John M. DiRaimo, II of North Kingstown, Colleen S. Kology of Cranston and Marion T. Greene of Richmond; loving grandmother of Jill Gaccione; and dear sister of George Thomas of Coventry and the late Mariano Thomas, Jr., Mary Souza and Christine Santosuosso. Irene and her husband John were the owners and operators of the former DiRaimo Farm and Greenhouses in North Kingstown before retiring. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St., North Kingstown at 10 a.m. Burial will be at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
