Irene M. (Najarian) Eranosian

IRENE M. (NAJARIAN) ERANOSIAN, 92, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023.  She was the beloved wife of Edward S. Eranosian.  Born in Arlington, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Agnes (Nahigian) Najarian and dear sister of the late Helen Mouradjian.

Irene married Edward and moved to RI in 1958. She was an active member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church where she was Superintendent of the church’s Armenian Language School for many years and was a member of the church’s Cultural Committee since its inception. She was also a member of the Armenian Student’s Association and The Daughters of Vartan.

In addition to spending time with her family, Irene enjoyed baking, entertaining, and playing cards with friends.

Besides her husband Edward, she was the devoted mother of Craig Eranosian of Middletown, Carol Storti (Richard) and Gail Marsocci (Albert), all of Cranston; cherished grandmother of Nicole, Jessica, and Brandon; and loving great-grandmother of Lucia.

VISITING HOURS are Saturday Morning, April 22nd from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church, with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
