Irene M. (Petrarca) Roccio

78, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio Petrarca and Odelia (Morris) Tartaglia. Irene worked as a press operator for A & H Manufacturing for many years before retiring.

She is survived by her loving sons, Joseph Folcarelli and Michael Roccio, both of Johnston; cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Mary Katherine, Danielle, and two great grandchildren; dear siblings, Carmine, Elizabeth, Carolyn, Marie, Joanne, Frances, Louise, Della and the late Sandra, Salvatore, Eleanor, Delores and Margie.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday Morning from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. Burial will be private.
