Isabelle L. 'Tibby' (Cancelliere) Micheli
85, of Johnston, passed away at home on Wednesday April 29, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Rudolph Micheli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Theresa (Iovino) Cancelliere.
Isabelle was a very active member of the community in the town of Johnston. She was heavily involved with the Recreation Department, organizing many events specifically within Simmons Village. She also organized many events with Johnston Police, including their annual walk. Isabelle received many awards and accolades over the years from Mayor Polisena, Chief Tamburini and many others.
She is survived by her loving children, Yvonne Wells and her fiancAC. Joseph Carta of Johnston, and Rudolph Micheli of Johnston; Sister of Marie Tannoccio, Sal Cancelliere, and the late Rose DiPalma, Michael, Joseph, Anthony and Carl "Junior" Cancelliere; Cherished grandmother of Mark and Joseph.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Rocco's Church, 931 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Monday from 4 - 8 p.m.
