73, of Providence, passed away on December 29, 2016 at Roger Williams Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Jacqueline was the beloved wife of Anthony "Tony" Lupo to whom she was married to for 48 years. Daughter of the late Arthur and Angelina (LaRocque) DesCoteaux. She had a great passion for being a daycare provider as well as working in the food service industry for several years before taking an early retirement in 2002 to care for her husband until he passed in 2011. Jacqueline worked at The Lighthouse Preschool in Warwick in 2015. Up until her passing she worked in food service for Aramark in Cranston Public Schools. She is survived by her loving daughters Donna M. Zoglio and her husband James of West Warwick, and Christine M. Piacitelli and her husband Christopher of Cranston. Cherished grandmother of Michaela & Jami Zoglio and Gianna & Anthony Piacitelli. Devoted great-grandmother of Angelina, Larissa, Christian, Vincent and Victoria Curiel, all of whom she lived with and helped care for daily. Sister of Fabiola Porter and her husband Tom of Surprise, AZ, Wendell DesCoteaux, Arthur DesCoteaux and his wife Michelle all of Coventry, and the late Cynthia Garriepy. Sister in law of Robert Garriepy. She also leaves behind her life long friend Sandra Masse of Sunrise, FL., as well as many nieces and nephews. Jacqueline was devoted to her family, always willing to help those in need along with volunteering her time in her community. She loved to travel, play Scrabble, and host get togethers in her home often. She always had a story to share and jokes to tell. People always gravitated towards her as she was genuine and pure. She was a breast cancer survivor, a care taker, and a faithful parishioner. Affectionately known to everyone as "Nana" she will be deeply missed. Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 5:00-9:00 p.m.
