72, of Providence, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Coventry Health Center in Coventry. Born in Providence, he was the devoted and loving son of the late James A. and Mary B. (Boyajian) Carroll.
James was a marine steam engineer and worked for the U.S. Government Military Sealift Command for 28 years retiring in 2000 and was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by the Banville, Fennessey and Boyajian cousins.
His Funeral Service to which relatives and friend are invited, will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial at Mount St. Mary Cemetery in Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS are THURSDAY MORNING from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
