James "Jim" Gabriele

59, of Pawtucket and Narragansett, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. Born in Providence, Jim was the son of Barbara (Price) Gabriele of Narragansett and the late Louis Atilio Gabriele.  He leaves behind his longtime companion of 24 Years Betty Ann Carbone.  Jim was a chemist.  He enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas yearly with his spouse and loved cooking for his family.

He is survived by his children Jay Gabriele of Narragansett and Miranda Gabriele of Warren. Jim was the elder brother of Louis Atilio Gabriele Jr. and his wife Patricia of North Kingtown, and stepfather of Lisa Bento and her husband Paul of Cranston, Leslie Carbone of North Providence, and Laura Carbone of Johnston.  He was also the cherished “Papa” of four.  Jim was the uncle of Daniel, Marc and Michael Gabriele.

Services will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue.  VISITING HOURS: Monday 4:00-7:00 p.m.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904
