James J. Perry, (PFD, Ret.)

of Princess Ave., Cranston, passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2016 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Josephine (Morrissey) Perry.

Jim received his associate degree from Community College of Rhode Island and was a firefighter for the City of Providence for 20 years retiring in 1988.

He was the beloved husband of Kathleen A. (Altieri) Perry; devoted father of James M. Perry (EGFD) and his wife Sherri of Warwick and William C. Perry (EGFD) and his wife Laurie of Cranston; and loving grandfather of Joshua, Savanna and Sara Perry.
