Jamey J. Scheer, Jr.

32, of Cranston passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Born in Providence, he was a son of Shawn M. (Narcovich) Scheer and the late Jamey J. Scheer, Sr. 

Jamey had a contagious laugh and a beautiful smile. He loved spending time with his family and friends, was a huge football fan and enjoyed playing fortnite. Most recently he worked for Classic Sealcoat.

Jamey leaves his mother, his beloved daughter, October-Lee Marie Furtado; his siblings, Lindsay Scheer and Justin Scheer; his nieces and nephews, Steven, Jr., Abel, Annabelle, Gabriella, Alana, Sofia, Ariella and Greyson; his girlfriend, Leah Mincey; his godmother, Rhonda Hillal; cousin Briana Rooney; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:30am in Holy Cross Church, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday from 4-8pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for an education fund for October-Lee.
