Janice L. (Santamaria) Ruizzo

of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 28th, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Placido) Santamaria, Sr.

Janice was a claims processor for Electronic Data Systems before retiring, and was a Huge Elvis Fan.

She was the devoted mother of Joseph E. Ruizzo, Jr., Sherri Araujo and her husband Milton and Rosemarie Santosuosso and her companion Kenneth Gates, Sr.; cherished grandmother of Alan Bagian , Billy and Ryan Santosuosso; mother in law of Robert Bagian and the late William Santosuosso, Jr. She is also survived by her caregiver and friend Ebony Simmons. She was the dear sister of Mildred Swanson and the late Frank Santamaria, Richard Santamaria and Catherine Tavares. Her funeral services and burial will be private.
