Jeffrey A. Berard

of Cranston passed away unexpectedly due to complications from Crohn’s disease on Tuesday January 17, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of the late Nina M. Ellard. Born in Weymouth, MA he was the loving son of Robert Berard and his wife Donna of Ashland, MA and Kathleen Morini of Jupiter, FL.

Jeffrey was the devoted father of Christopher Berard and his wife Miguelina of Cranston; his cherished grandchild Marisabell Berard; and dear brother of Michael and Michelle Berard.

His family included five step-daughters Jill Ellard, Laura Ellard,Cara Iannazzi, and her husband Michael all of Cranston, Colleen Ellard of North Kingstown and Holly Ellard of Carlsbard, CA., grandchildren Kyle Shorts, Luca Christoforo, Kaitlin LeDoux, Christopher LeDoux and Olivia Iannazzi.

Jeffrey began his career as a lighting and sound engineer. He was also the touring manager for the Hall of Fame Rock’n Roll bands, and later became a news producer for both WBZ 4 in Boston and ABC 6 in Providence.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday January 25th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston.

Burial will be private.
