Jeffrey Simone Girard, II

35, of Cranston, called to eternal life on Saturday, August 15, 2015, in RI Hospital, Providence. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Jeffrey and Sharon (Simone) Girard. Jeffrey was a food server for the Newport Naval Base for many years. He was also a part of the RI Special Olympics Cranston Raiders and Lincoln North Stars; he was a Brother Knight of Reverend Richard A. Donnelly Counsel 322, an alter server and usher at St. Mark's Church, Cranston, graduate of Cranston High School West and was an Eagle Scout of Troop 6 Cranston. Besides his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Louise Simone of Cranston and the late Anthony Simone, Sr., and his paternal grandparents Angela Girard of North Providence and the late Bernard Girard. Jeffrey was a nephew of Anthony Simone, Jr. and his wife Roberta of Cranston, Angelo "Cappy" Simone and his wife Bridget of Cranston and Florence Restum of North Providence. He is also survived by his three first cousins Brianna, Anthony III and Adina and many other loving relatives. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
