Jennie (Gamba) Buglio

95, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Buglio, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Aniceto and Maria (Prata) Gamba. Jennie enjoyed cooking and feeding her family and friends. She worked in the food service industry at her own restaurant, Alberto’s, was a chef of the Greenwich room at Jordan Marsh and the food service supervisor at the Delta Zeta Sorority at URI.

Jennie is survived by her two loving sons, Albert J. Buglio, Jr., and his wife Elizabeth of Wellington, FL, and Anthony S. Buglio and his wife Jamie of Coventry. She was the cherished grandmother of Ashley Guillemette and Jennifer Buglio. Jennie was the sister of the late Martha DiRaimo, Anna Bergantino, Mary Frances Cardillo, Vincent Gamba, Valentino Gamba, James Gamba, Dorothy Mariano and Connie Francazio.  She was Auntie Jennie to many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 29th,  at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday morning from 8:30-10:00 a.m.
