Jennie (Ranucci) Caldamone
93, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2015, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Caldamone. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Rosa (Giarrusso) Ranucci. Jennie worked in the jewelry industry for many years; she loved cooking and baking for her family which she loved so much and loved listening and dancing to music.
Jennie is survived by her loving children, Dianne Manchester of Warwick and Angela Castellucci and her husband Gerald of Narragansett. She was the cherished grandmother of Kristen Comparone, Keri Buckley and Courtney Manchester and the great-grandmother of Joseph and Samantha Comparone. She was the sister of Mary Rotondo and Anna Vento both of Cranston, the late Carmella Serapiglia, Sabatino, Angelo and Anthony Ranucci.
Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road. (Rt. 1A) Narragansett on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield. VISITING HOURS: WEDNESDAY from 9:00-10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI, 02904.
