Jennie (Sucamosto) Carnevale

95, of Johnston and formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Jennie was the wife of the late Joseph Carnevale for 51 years, before his passing in 1994. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Elisabeth (Menna) Sucamosto. She is survived by her children, Beverly Mello and her husband Robert of Johnston, and Linda Cusick and her husband Robert of North Carolina, formerly of Cumberland. Jennie was the cherished grandmother of Susan (Cusick) Hill and her husband Bruce, Stephanie (Mello) Marino and her husband Peter, Joseph Cusick and his wife Kelly, her great grandchildren Veronica and Alex Hill, Racheal and Courtney Cusick. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Jennie was the sister of the late Elizabeth D'Antuono, Katherine D'Antuono, and Mary Bucci.

Jennie lived in Cranston all her life until her illness back in 2009. She worked at Primrose Laundry of Johnston for many years, until her retirement back in the 80's. She was an excellent homemaker and very devoted to her family. She was famous for her Italian rice croquettes and Italian star cookies. No one ever left her house hungry. She will sadly be missed.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
