Jennie M. (Moretti) Titherington

Of Smithfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Elmhurst Extended Care, Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Titherington.  Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Moretti) Moretti.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Sally Tortolano and her husband Domenic of Smithfield; cherished grandchildren Deana Filippelli and her husband Louis, Lori Edwards and her wife Susan, Brian Tortolano and his wife Aimee, and great grandchildren Jenna Filippelli, Chase Edwards, Cole Edwards, Cristina Tortolano, Elisabeth Tortolano, Domenic Tortolano and Devin Cormier; dear siblings Camela Johnston of Cranston, Alevera “Edie” Russo of Johnston and Evelyn Padula of Johnston.  She was the sister of the late Rose DelGuidice, Celia Spolidoro, Anna Izzi, Theresa Pacifico, Mary Pannone, Lena Petrillo, Laura Moretti, Louis Moretti, Domenic Moretti, Angelina Antonucci and Angelo “Tony” Moretti.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Friday morning 8 am – 9 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Tomorrow Fund, Rhode Island Hospital Campus, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903.
