JOHN BASMAJIAN
John was a polisher of laser rods in the optical industry for many years before retiring. He was a WW-II U.S. Army paratrooper veteran and member of the Disabled American Veterans; a member and past trustee of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church and past delegate to its National Convention; and a member of St. John's Lodge #1, Providence.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Charlene B. Bannon and her husband Peter of Narragansett; loving and cherished grandfather of Luke J. Bannon and Julie D. Bannon; and dear brother of the late Marshall Basmajian and Vera Lindo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by interment at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
