John C. Cece

83, of No Scituate, passed away on Monday November 30, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness with shingles and cancer. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Caparrelli) Cece. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Castandino and Madeline (Macera) Cece.
John was a self-employed farmer and originated a waste management business.
He was a member of the Little Rhody Model A Ford Club for thirty five memorable years, RI Antique Truck Club, Elk's Club for forty years. He also enjoyed Politics, days on the farm and having lunches with his close friends.
He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
Besides his wife he is survived by his five step-children; thirteen step-grandchildren; and fifteen step- great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Robert Cece and his wife Elizabeth of Stoddard, NH and was the uncle of Heidi Leandro and Michael Cece and five great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, on Friday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church , Danielson Pike, Corner Rte. 116 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
