John M. Corsini
71, of Narragansett, RI, passed away peacefully at his home, on Friday, July 17, 2015. He was the devoted husband of Susan (Caruolo) Corsini. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Nicolina (Cimini) Corsini.
John was President and CEO of Uncas Manufacturing. He was also a devoted family man, and a great host: his cookouts for the whole extended family were highpoints of every summer. He loved watching his kids and his grandkids play sports whenever he could. He was also a diehard New England sports fan, a season ticket holder for the Patriots for decades. You could often find John on Sunday morning of a Patriots home game with friends patiently waiting for the parking lots to open so they could begin tailgating, generous to a fault; John made friends wherever he went, and treated the people who worked with him and for him with respect and concern. In his business life, he started off in sales and his drive and energy led to his steady promotion through Uncas, ending his career in the Jewelry industry as President and CEO. His passion was developing jewelry especially taking product from initial concept to the final finished piece.
Besides his wife Susan, he is survived by his loving children, Christopher Corsini and his wife Diane of Orlando, FL, Daryl Andrews and her husband Robert of East Greenwich and Tisha Salata and her husband Jason of Coronado, CA. John was the cherished grandfather of nine; a brother of Barbara Rocchio of Narragansett and Beverly Tsonos of Lincoln.
His funeral will be held on Friday, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road,(Route 1A.), Narragansett, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Narragansett. Entombment will be held in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Southern New England-www.heart.org.sne.
