John Anthony Del Bonis

82, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Joanna (Filippone) Del Bonis for 57 years. He was the son of the late John P. and Priscilla (Recchia) Del Bonis. John was the owner of Knightsville Service Station for over 50 years.

John was a US Airforce veteran serving during the Berlin Crisis. John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed skiing, tennis, working outdoors and spending time in NH. He was a former football player for Cranston High School East and an avid Patriots fan.

Besides his wife Joanna, he is survived by his loving children, John David Del Bonis, his wife Daniella and their son John Domenic, Christopher Del Bonis, his wife Jennifer and their son John Alfred, and Gina Del Bonis, all of Cranston.

His funeral will be held on Friday, April 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial with military honors will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
