John L. DonFrancisco

89, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Hopkins Manor, North Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Esther (DeFazio) DonFrancisco. John was born in Cranston, a son of the late Loreto and Antonetta (Marcaccio) DonFrancisco.
Mr. DonFrancisco was a foreman for the Town of Johnston Highway Department for many years until his retirement. John was a WW II Army veteran and an avid golfer.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Annette DeAngelis and her husband Robert and JoAnn Paglia and her husband Anthony both of Cranston; his cherished grandchildren Robert, Kevin, Rebecca, Holly, Michael and was the great grandfather of 9. John was also the dear brother of Eileen Hopper of Coventry and the late Palma Wagoner and William DonFrancisco.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 am in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
