John J. Moricas, Jr
80, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, Cranston. He was the beloved husband of the late Eileen (Nicholson) Moricas. Born in Lithuania, he was the son of the late Jonas and Anna (Gurinskas) Moricas. He was a U.S Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his loving children, Steven Moricas of Providence, Andrew Moricas and his wife Wendy of Cranston, and Michael Moricas and his wife Kristen of Narragansett; cherished grandchildren, Rachel, Zackary, Brendan, Lindsay and Ryan Moricas; great-grandchildren Kaylee, Sylvia and Landon; and dear brother of Mary Ann LaValley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS and flowers are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Catholic Charity Fund, One Cathedral Square, Providence, RI 02903.
