John Pezzillo

89, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at The Cedars in Cranston. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred “Millie” (Tucker) Pezzillo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vito and Catherine (Trofia) Pezzillo. John was the owner of Westfield Foods in Greenville; he was also a Captain in the US Army Infantry Unit serving in the Korean War.

He is survived by his sons Michael Pezzillo of Cranston, Thomas Pezzillo of Burrillville, John Pezzillo of  Scituate and Robert Pezzillo and his wife Maria of Cranston. John was also the cherished grandfather of Ashley, Jesse, Robert and Nicholas and brother of the late Anna M. Iacobbo, Angelina Leonardo, Vincent, Anthony, Vito and Michael Pezzillo and  Gilda Zampini.

His Funeral Home Service will be held on Thursday at 10 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Ave., Cranston followed by a burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday morning 9-10 am. Kindly omit flowers
