John A. Quaranta

90, of Cranston, passed away on the 14th day of October 2015 at Morgan Health Center in Johnston. He was the husband of the late Mafalda (Ricci) Quaranta. He was employed by the Atlantic Tubing and Rubber Company for 29 years before his retirement. Born in Providence, a son of the late Anthony and Mary (Boragine)Quaranta. He lived in Providence before moving to Cranston 29 years ago. Mr. Quaranta enjoyed fishing and hunting for many years. He was a communicant for many years of the now closed St. Ann's Church, Cranston.
He leaves his only child, John A. Quaranta, Jr. of Cranston, three brothers, George V. Quaranta, Joseph Quaranta, and Anthony E. Quaranta, and other nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Florence A. Sacco.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS will be Sunday 4 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Easter Seals, 233 Wacker Drive, Suite 2400, Chicago, IL 60606.
