John V. Regine of Cranston and Naples, FL, 84, passed away on Thursday, June 12th 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Providence, John was the son of the late Salvator and Phyllis Regine (Cassella). John is the beloved husband of Lynda A. Regine (Morettini); loving father of Lynne A. Regine, Sally A. Correia (Christopher), and Nancy A. Grover (Mark); adoring and proud grandfather of Sara, John, Mark and Madison. He was the brother of Ella Efird and Anthony Regine. John leaves several nieces and nephews.
John graduated from Cranston East High School in 1958 and pursued a successful career in printing. He was the founder of Regine Printing in Providence. Even after retiring, you could still see him at the “shop” daily (who else could run the Heidelberg Press).
He was married for 59 years to the love of his life, Lynda, together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter and above all love. His greatest pride and joy were his three beautiful daughters. John and Lynda instilled in their daughters a strong work ethic and love of family.
John was an avid golfer belonging to the Alpine Country Club in Cranston and Cypress Woods Country Club in Naples, Florida. John found enjoyment (most of the time) and camaraderie on the course, where many lasting friendships were formed. Off the green, he was a great cook who loved to feed his family with his creations. When he wasn’t golfing, cooking or spending time with family and friends; Lynda and him would press their luck at the local casino.
He also had a deep appreciation for spending time with his friends, sharing stories and laughter. His presence lit up every room he entered, and his legacy of unconditional love, generosity, and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
His funeral will be held on Friday June 20th at 10:00 a.m. from NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue Cranston, RI followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Apostles Church 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston.
