71, passed away with family by his side on December 1, 2013 at Miriam Hospital after a long battle with lung cancer. He was the husband of Catherine (Grant) Ruzzano. Born in Providence on August 13, 1942, he was the son of the late Domenic and Mary (Lolio) Ruzzano. He was a RIPTA bus driver, who retired after nearly 34 years of service; and was a member of 618 Amalgamated Transit Union. He and his wife recently moved to Scenic View Drive in Smithfield to be closer to family. Jack Ruzzano is survived by his wife Catherine; two children and their spouses, son John M. Ruzzano Jr. and spouse Maureen (Carlton) Ruzzano and daughter Mary (Ruzzano) Pezzullo and spouse Gerald Pezzullo, all of Smithfield; six grandchildren, Felicia, Ryan, Marissa, Cameron, Allison and Cooper; two siblings, brother Edward Ruzzano of Coventry and sister Rita (Ruzzano) Mailloux of Providence, as well as many loved cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church, Smithfield at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
