John O. Surmeian
unexpectedly entered his eternal rest on December 7, 2015.

John was the husband of Irene Surmeian. He was born in Providence to Maria and the late Leo Surmeian. John was a life-long Pawtucket resident. He graduated from Pawtucket West High School and the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
He was baptized at St. Sahag and Mesrob Church and attended their Sunday School and Armenian School. John leaves his loving wife, devoted mother and siblings, Rosanne, James and Lisa. He also leaves his cherished nephews, one niece and many dear cousins, aunts and uncles. John enjoyed the ocean, photography, music, movies and spending happy times with his large extended family. He will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday at 11am in Sts. Sahag and Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 70 Jefferson Street, Providence. Burial will take place in North Burial Ground, Providence. VISITING HOURS will also be held at St. Sahag and Mesrob Church, Saturday morning 9:30-11:00 a.m.
