John D. Theroux

62, of Cranston passed away Sunday July 30, 2023 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Jeannette (DelPadre) Theroux.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Edward Bailey Sr. and the late Barbara (Otranto) Bailey. John was a self- employed carpenter for many years before retiring. John loved fishing, nature and cooking for his family. He loved playing football and coaching his boys, but his grandchildren was his greatest joy.

Besides his wife and father, he was the devoted father of Robert J. Theroux and his wife Lauren; Jason E. Theroux and his wife Allison and the late Taylor J. Theroux; loving grandfather of Victoria, Kingston, Nora-Ann and Viviana. He was the dear brother of Kathleen Theroux, Karen Theroux and Edward Bailey Jr. and his wife Melissa.

His funeral will be held on Friday August 4, 2023 at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by his Funeral Home Service at 11 am. Burial will be private.

Visiting hours are Thursday August 3, 2023 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
