John M. Vitulli

John M. Vitulli

95, of Cranston, peacefully passed away on May 31, 2023 in his home, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of the late Angelina “Angie” (DiNezza) Vitulli. Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Natalina (Nardolillo) Vitulli.   He was the brother of the late Delores DiChiara, Salvatore Vitulli, Marie Mixner, Amelia Crook, Evelyn Marocco, and Barbara Butler.

John was a licensed electrician with Local #99, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for more than 50 years,

the VFW Post #10011, the Santa Maria Di Prata Society, and a lifetime member of the St. Mary’s Feast Society.  He played basketball and participated in bowling and golfing leagues throughout his life. John was an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Yankees.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Donna Treglia, with whom he lived, and Nancy Vitulli, both of Cranston; his cherished grandchildren, Christine Treglia, Dana Treglia, Cranston City Councilor John Donegan and his wife, Laura, Joseph Donegan and his wife, Alexa; and his great grandson, Luke Joseph Donegan. John was devoted to his family, went above and beyond for all, and graced everyone with many moments of joy and laughter. He will live in our hearts forever.

His funeral will leave Wednesday June 7, 2023, at 9:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a funeral service at 10:00am at St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held on Tuesday June 6, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, RI Chapter, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 or to HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 20904.
