John W. Winn, Jr
"Jack",73, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra (Nimblett) Winn. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Marie (Dwyer) Winn, Sr.
Jack was a self-employed painting contractor for many years. Later, he worked for Amica Insurance for 20 years before his retirement in 2001. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, but most of all loved spending time with his family, especially at cookouts around his pool.
He is survived by his loving children, Dana McCormick and her fiancAC. Anthony Parascandolo, John Winn III and his wife Michele, Timothy Winn and his wife Kerrie and William Winn and his wife Jennifer, all of Cranston; cherished grandchildren, Jessica Hemond, Justin Bibee, Timothy Jr., John IV, Nicole, Ryan and Matthew Winn; 3 great-grandchildren; dear siblings Marie Aguiar, Richard Winn and Roland Winn.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday from 4 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Meeting Street School, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905.
