John 'Jack' F. O'Connor

89, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018.  He was the beloved husband of the late Rosalind (Madonna) O’Connor.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John F. and Grace A. (Cooper) O’Connor.

Jack worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years before his retirement.  He was also a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne.

He is survived by his children, Norma O’Connor of Ashburn, VA, Thomas Sullivan and his wife Connie of Kingston, NY, and the late Carole Ann O’Connor; grandchildren Eric Sullivan and Jennifer Winters as well as 3 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston.  Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
