93, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Hope Hospice. He was the beloved husband of the late Marion (Moretti) Nardolillo for 53 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Costantino (Sandy) and Vincenza (Parrillo) Nardolillo.
He is survived by his sons, Stephen Nardolillo and John (Jay) Nardolillo, his sisters Anna Amalfitano and Thea Neri and his brothers Val Nardolillo and Irving Nardolillo along with many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Camella McLean, Pauline McLean, Sandra Nardolillo and his brothers, Constantino Jr., Frank, Anthony, Nicholas and Joseph Nardolillo.
Most people knew him by “Sonny”. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean War. He worked for many years as the service manager at Quick Tire Service. For over 40 years he owned Sandy’s Tap and Sandy’s Corner Pub on Federal Hill.
During his retirement he enjoyed playing cards, watching Westerns and he loved to gamble at casino’s. He will be deeply missed by all who love him.
His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
